The Mangala Buddha Vihar is a Theravada Tradition Buddhist Temple that was founded in July 2018 with inaugurated by Ven Phrakhru Samothankhetkrnarak, Chief of Chumphae, Thailand and located in Pulichapallam, Vanur Taluk of Villupuram District which is very near to Auroville.

The vihar has a 30 feet tall statue of Lord Buddha at its entrance, as well as a peaceful puja room for worship and meditation. The Mangala Buddha vihar premises also have a statue of Lord Buddha with the Dhyana Mudra under the Bodhi tree. There is a library for the benefit of the public and a Dhamma Hall for holding events also it is a place to gain knowledge about Buddhism.

Since 2018, Buddhist monks from other countries, as well as many tourists and local peoples, have been visiting here to practice meditation and seek spiritual awareness.

மங்கள புத்த விஹார் என்பது ஒரு தேரவாத பாரம்பரிய புத்த கோவிலாகும், இது ஜூலை 2018 இல் தாய்லாந்தின் Chief of Chumphae Ven Phrakhru Samothankhetkrnarak அவர்களால் திறந்து வைக்கப்பட்டது மற்றும் ஆரோவில்லுக்கு மிக அருகில் உள்ள விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டத்தின் வானூர் தாலுகாவில் உள்ள புளிச்சப்பள்ளத்தில் அமைந்துள்ளது.

இக்கோவிலின் வாசலில் 30 அடி உயர புத்த பகவான் சிலையும், வழிபாடு மற்றும் தியான பயிற்சி செய்வதற்கு அமைதியான சூழ்நிலை கொண்ட பூஜை அறையும் உள்ளது. கோவிலின் வளாகத்தில் போதி மரத்தடியில் தியான முத்திரையுடன் கொண்ட புத்த பகவான் சிலையும் அமைந்துள்ளது. மேலும் பொதுமக்கள் பயன்பெறும் வகையில் நூலகம், நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடத்திட தம்மா மண்டபமும் உள்ளது. பௌத்தம் பற்றி அறிய இது ஒரு நல்ல இடமாகும்.

2018 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல், பிற நாடுகளிலிருந்து புத்த துறவிகளும் ஏராளமான சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் மற்றும் உள்ளூர் மக்களும் தியான பயிற்சி மேற்கொள்வதற்கும், ஆன்மீகத் தேடலுக்காக இங்கு வருகை தருகின்றனர்.
